Just bought a new Ram Laramie with 5.7 Hemi Night Edition. Rides great, more seating room than anything I've ever been in and the technology is crazy. Besides all the typical new driver safety features it has the 12" touchscreen and 19 speakers. I laughed off Dodge for years but ever since Ram split off to invest more into their trucks they've come a long way. There's a reason it's rated the #1 truck right mow by several different organizations.

In January I bought a 2019 Ram classic crew cab and I love it. Rides like a car thanks to rear coils instead of leaf springs.

Main gripe I've heard about them is leaky gasket on the middle brake light (above back glass).

Ive heard the new Tundra makeover will just be small changes. I was looking for a used one but the prices were pretty high. Just bought a new one and love it.

I’ve had 3 Fords. Just bought a 2020 Sierra 1500 and it rides better than any Ford I’ve owned. Mine is an SLT and it’s got all the extras like heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel, technology package that has adaptive cruise and lane assist. The 5.3L paired with the 10spd tranny has a LOT of go juice. I’d recommend the new Sierra to anyone wanting a new truck. Plus they look pretty sweet.

Go drive all three majors and or a FUNDRA, I mean TUNDRA. Try to forget about any stigmas from the past. They are all good trucks these days. After driving all of them, you'll buy the Ram.

So original.

If you are looking for the most reliable, best looking truck with highest resale value go with the Tundra. If not, pick any of the others. Basically all the same thing.

I've got a 2013 f150 with 135k miles. Will be getting something new in next few months. Debating on going different route and getting a Gladiator Rubicon or wait till the new f150s come out

OP we have a Tundra at work that we share when we need to haul something. It’s a 4 wheel drive. I’m not sure about their 2 wheel drive but the gas tank is small in ours and it gets terrible gas mileage. Anytime I go anywhere I feel like I have to pull over every 2 hours to fuel up. We also have two F-250 that seem like good trucks and we were able to special order larger fuel tanks which is nice. I had a 2000 GMC Sierra and gave it to my dad to use when he needs to haul stuff off or pick things up. He rarely uses it. However, the truck has over 300,000 miles and I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it to California from Mobile. Does GMC still make a quality truck like that now I don’t have a clue but I’ve always been a GMC Sierra man myself.

Wish you were right but in talking to toyota reps it looks like they’re doing away with the 5.7. And supposedly switching to a 3.5L twin turbo 6 cyl. There’s rumors on Tundra Talk and various Toyota boards that there may be a hybrid option as well. The engine is the same in the Lexus LS500.

I don't know what's been going on with the chevy trucks, but 2 of my buddies 2017 trucks had a lot of issues with the transmission and the engine pistons.

2007 Tundra with 130K. Still runs fine. Can't justify getting rid of it. As a former coworker said when considering trading out of a perfectly good old truck: the 40K plus that you have to come up for the new one will purchase a lot of gasoline.

Not sure if it's 2021 or 2022, but getting a twin turbo option and all new redesign.

Cant beat a Toyota, hands down. Especially for meeting what you appear to need. It will outlast all others! Go for a Tacoma for better gas millage and insurance premiums.
