I’ve been rocking vests my entire life. I’m not about to stop now. Louisiana is perfect for vests. No need for a jacket 99% of the time.

So you’re saying the only time a vest can be worn with a tux is at highschool prom? It makes sense now that I know you’ve never worn tails.

Occam’s razor says an oilfield baw is wearing a vest with a prom colored tux, not tails.

So what you are saying is that you are coming out of the closet on thanksgiving. Let us know how the family takes it.

I wasn't going to, but now that you mention it I think I may wear a vest tomorrow.

If you pair it up with mutton chops and a pocket watch, you should refer to it as a waistcoat and call yourself Phineas.

I’ve work some version of this every thanksgiving since I’ve been an adult. Khakis, button up and usually a RL vest or a Perlis vest. Some of you need to learn how to dress like an adult male. Sheesh.
This year I’m rolling with this because frick the Falcons.

I couldn't even wait for Thanksgiving. I'm wearing a button down and a Marmot vest at the office. It was a bit chilly this morning, but not coat chilly. Perfect vest weather.
Haters gonna hate.

I’m sure your skinny jeans, pocket tee and converse are the hit at your family’s house. You’re probably the coolest guy there I’m sure.

I wear vests all the time. But tomorrow I am rocking out with my Saints quarter zip, I may put a down vest over the top of that just to really piss off all the fashionistas I run across.
