Business/industries that could go under due to COVID-19?

With everything shut down, and as Americans realize they actually don't need a certain this or that to go about their day, what could be on the chopping block? Any surprises?

Crate and Barrel
Cheesecake Factory
Bar Louie
Macy’s
Williams Sonoma
Add some hotels to that list as well, plus a shite load of larger chain and local restaurants/bars.

You may have a hard time finding a barber shop/hair stylist.
Most of those chains are franchises (translated: owned by a small business) and may well not reopen.

Another one may be massage therapists.
Your non-franchised ones are generally Asian-owned, and there's going to be a LOT of hatred toward Asians. Many of them may not survive.
Franchised ones (who usually have non-Asian employees), probably in the same boat as the hair salons. Maybe worse since you have to have a hair cut (unless you plan to be a hippie) but not necessarily a massage.

As far as major chains, Pier 1 was already closing half its stores and now they are all closed. It was in trouble and this may push it over the edge.
Sears and JCPenney are extremely weak and this may finally put the nails in their coffins.

And will look even better once they use that federal money to help finance their planned renovation. I know I joked in the other thread, but that wasn’t just some local managers decision to house the homeless there indefinitely
