The TSA agent God complex is unreal. I always look to see if I can find one smiling when I travel and I think I’ve seen maybe 4-5 total over the last 15 years when flying domestic. Seriously, see if you can spot any actually enjoying their job next time you fly. It’s as if they tell them in their training to look miserable as frick and to treat you as if you’re on a no fly list. It’s wild. Gives me a ton of anxiety too if I’m hungover flying back from somewhere

Europe does it much better and is a much better experience with actual smoke show flight attendants. Even their cleaners in the lounges are smokes. Only real complaint I have about flying in Europe is how insane they are about carry ons

Same SF was pretty quick and Dallas was just very quick. Definitely not the busiest day or close. One more flight to go after 26 hours from Thailand.

I'm tired AF.

Well he’s doing a skit and doesn’t actually work for TSA.

Hell just eliminate it. They are worthless

Sure, then we can just let Islamists with bombs board planes unfettered.

Not to mention the stupid, “you don’t have to take your belt or shoes off with TSA-pre check…well unless your belt or shoes have metal on them.” What kinda belt doesn’t have a metal buckle?

My belt gets taken off in Portland but somehow it makes it through in Denver and NOLA.

I get to fly out of Atlanta next week. Looking forward to seeing 250lb LaQeesha and her 4'" nails telling me to take off my shoes.

Love these complaints. Get Precheck and TSA is a breeze.

You need this belt. When you tell TSA it will not trigger the metal detector, be prepared for them to cast a mean look at you, argue w/ you and still insist you remove the belt. Don't ask me how I know.
$50 for nylon and two plastic hoops? That fhing has to have 900% profit margin!

If you think TSA is stopping any terrorist, I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you! TSA is the biggest joke in all of government. I'm convinced half of them have an IQ that's close to room temperature. TSA makes the DMV look like a MENSA meeting! It's a freaking dog and pony show, used to make the average citizen feel "safe", when in all actuality, we should copy exactly what Israel does.

When I used to fly more, it might be worth it. But next week will be the first time in over a year. I'll put up with the few extra minutes of dealing with Atalanta's finest in order to save a few bucks.

there a worse group of TSA workers than the ones at MSY?

Yes. The chimpanzees that call themselves baggage handlers.

I swear to God, my flight arrived late on night and there was little to no activity at baggage claim. It took ~45 minutes for our bags to start to appear.

I fly in and out of several very small airports multiple times each year. The smallest being Ocean City, MD. Security at them is the easiest I ever encounter. A coupe of the smaller airports sometimes have no one else but me going through security.
Denver, Newark, ATL, and Miami are much more of a PITA from my experiences.

I really like how in Asia security is at your gate rather than at the terminal. Lot less people getting screened at an individual gate.
