Here are my ideas, as an expert on pooping:
Automated toilet seat/cover movement. Lifts what you need when you need it. I'd suggest a small button arrangement next to the bathroom light switch, so you hit the arrangement button when you walk in and it's ready by the time you sit.

Warming toilet seat. For those cold days.

Squatty potty footrest. For optimal pooping angles

Higher seat compared to water level than normal. Some people suggest lowering the water level, but that makes the poop more likely to sit out of the water and stink. My suggestion is we sit higher, making it more of a throne, with the same water level as normal. The splash won't make it to you, but the poop won't stink as much from sitting out of the water.

High power flush and extra wide flushing pipe. For those extra big dumps that would otherwise clog.

Bidet

Toilet-side table for putting phone down, etc.

I would like to motion for a small (6"x4") warming plate to set your hot pocket or other snack in the need that both grips on the handle bar need to be held.

If Im eating hotpockets I don't need handlebars. I need a helmet for when my head hits the ceiling after being blown out my shoes.

Phone holder so you can wipe your arse.

When your pants around your ankles it's hard to put your phone in your pocket. No telling how many have been dropped in the shitter.

Cause everyone reads their phone while dropping a duece

A toilet should have a built in fan than pulls air out of the Bowl and carries it past the water in the Bowl and releases it in the sewer line. This slight negative air pressure would keep any air from leaving the Bowl and would deposit it in the septic tank. So you would have zero smell leaving the toilet. Actually would not be hard to design at all.

Auto poopourii spray when you sit.
Warming seats.
Auto close toilet seat 3 to 5 seconds after pressure on toilet seat is relieved.
Built on stool for squatty potty type lift.
Warming bidet.
Optional speakers on the toilet to help the mood.
Angled slightly forward for ease of getting up
Folding Arm rests

I think everyone knew I'd be in this thread.

Several days ago, someone started a thread about devices so perfect they cannot be improved.

One TDer suggested the toilet was just such a device. There was some disagreement about this, but I didn't read any specific suggestions that really moved me. Eating some food out of my fridge that should have been tossed has changed that. I've now thought about this a lot. I'm convinced that toilets have not yet achieved their optimal design. We need to design a toilet that helps us poop smarter, not harder.

A better designed toilet should have these features:

Front mount
You should not have to turn around to sit. We approach from the front, often during a moment of urgency. A well designed toilet should optimize our inertia. The current design is probably even tougher on wheelchair bound people. They should be able to wheel up and slide forward without spinning around, not park their chair on the side of the toilet and then somehow maneuver to the side.

The other benefit of forward mount is it should enable a more ergonomic access for courtesy flushes.

Handlebars
Handlebars on a front mount design will help handicapped people pull themselves forward AND give the user something to grip. I recommend flush placement to mimic the throttle on a motorcycle. Right hand flush, left hand bidet.

Forward Lean
Forward lean just happens to work perfectly with a forward mount and handlebars. It just so happens that this is also the most sensible way to eliminate that final plop of water splashing up into your b-hole. In public restrooms, this can leave you praying that your predecessors didn't have AIDS. Launching a loaf should be more like entering a pool from a water slide, not a diving board.

A raised deck for foot placement
There's a reason why the Squatty Potty is getting traction. Buying a 7 inch stool may be a strategy, but producing a 7 inch stool should be the outcome. The feces aficionados of the Squatty Potty assert that the proper angle for a proper slow dangle and drop is 35 degrees. But proper foot placement which enables the knees to be raised, should not be dependent on an after-market accessory. The truth is you may not be as constipated as you think. Maybe it's your posture. Maybe the real culprit is the inferior design of your porcelain throne. Science proves it's all in the proper anorectal angle of your defecational expulsions.
..........

I know what you're all thinking, "Stop, Willie. You're making too much sense. There's only so much perfection we can handle in a single idea session."

Yeah, you're right. That probably IS all you can handle. But brace yourselves, because I feel one more coming on.

Cup holders
Nuff said.

But maybe more needs to be.

Lagniappe
For some of us, taking a shite is the only personal time we can get when not sleeping. When passing, we often look for ways seize the moment and pass the time. The opportunity to make an efficient or entertaining passing of the time is often too good to pass up. The space between the handlebars would be perfect for a "shelf" for reading material, mobile devices, a charging station, or even just a place to put your sandwich.

All this win in one device? In one, broad-sweeping concept change, one of life's most cringe worthy moments is transformed into one of life's greatest pleasures that also serve up healthier, more natural and effortless poops. It's like buying your rectum a juicer.

What say you OT? Should I set up a gofundme page?

Anyone care to name it? I'll share profits for naming rights.

Toxic, smelly turds are dropping out of your butthole. The main thing you want is to drop the turds, pull the handle, and know the turds will disappear. Do we really need to make this very complicated?

Almost everything you said doesn't work. If you mount from the front, then you can't see the door and you have to back up, then turn around to get off. You also don't have anything to lean back against when you read TD for 20 mins after you finish. Handlebars also don't make sense, they'd get in the way for 95% of people that aren't handicapped. If you've ever used a handicap tub, you know handicap bars get in the way. And the forward lean also wouldn't stop the splash. You don't shoot out poop at whatever angle u sit at, it still falls straight down. And when something falls into water, water splashes back at the same angle, so you would still get splashed. The only thing you said that actually makes sense is the footrest to make it more like a squatty potty

You make the case for a more made to order product. Your response is tailored to your personal preferences.

You only need to face the door on the dismount, when the moment of urgency is over. Perhaps you're a single guy with no kids and you're more eager to leave. It makes much more sense to economize your time when time is most limited. I'm going for an efficient mount with a less efficient dismount. You seem to prefer the opposite for some reason. But you're a potential customer, so you should be able to get what you want.

Also, on my model there will be a chest support so you'll have chest support on the forward lean model while reading. I'll have one model that you mount like a Harley for those of you who prefer a more upright position with a slight recline to the rear. I'll also have a sport bike model for those who like more adventure.

You also have not thought about the moment of splashdown as much as I have. Odds favor a lower chance of a cold water enema with a slide delivery than a direct splashdown. If you can move and angle the b-hole slightly off center, you will have a less traumatic experience. It's just basic science man.

The bowl should not gently slope downward from the front; it should be an abrupt, front-deep bowl shape.

There is absolutely nothing worse than sitting down to take a crap on a toilet shaped like an upside down pyramid, and having the tip touch the angled downward slope of the toilet.
