I had never heard of Build A Bear until this today, so yes great PR stunt. My kid is only 18 months old though, I guess I would have heard of it if he were a little older

This reminds me of Michael Scott's golden ticket promotion on The Office.

Build-a-bear Workshop. This was an incentive for those who are bonus club members. You should have never advertised it to the general public and only emailed invites out to bonus club members," one commenter wrote.
Soccer moms everywhere are pissed they had to deal with the riff raff.

went to the mall today. The line for that stretched across the mall.
No shite. I walked to the food courts across from my office and was like WTF?!?!
There were legitimately 1000 people in line.
How much could you possibly save?? $40?

I went about 11:15 and there were no less than 250 people in line.

Like $25.

I think it is a lot more than $25, but I could be wrong.

I thought it said $25 in the link. Maybe not.

A friend of mine took his two girls to Mall of Louisiana around 10:30AM.. He texted me and said he was told that there was a 9 hr wait and gave them a $15 gift certificate.
I have seen this store and all and hear of people's kids having one, but I never really knew what was involved in it. Evidently they sale clothes for these things?

The bear isn’t expensive at all ... like $25. Its when the little skank filling it up with cotton asks your little 4 year old if she wants her to put a special wish star inside for $15. Of course she does!!!! Then she asks is she wants her to put special fairy dust inside to make it special... only $15... of course she does!!!! Dont forget the $30 outfit and then of course it needs a bath at the spa for $20.

I bet they had a lot of 4 foot tall 2 year olds.
Who are you to tell someone they are wrong for identifying as a certain age?
