Again these are all extremely cheap frozen items they’re popping in the fryer. it’s not like it’s all you can eat wings at that price or the lobster fest at red lobster where they lost money. Plenty of chains have done bottomless fries
It would be tough for even 4 people to eat what they pay for an entire bag of mozzarella sticks. The increased foot traffic they get from people thinking this deal is too good to be true likely outweighs the ones who will sit there for hours and lose money on. You buy a few beers and cocktails to wash down all that sodium, they’ll come out ahead

WAY ahead, most likely. This isn't the same thing as what killed Red Lobster
Sure, you'll get some tables that are a loss and attract people you may not want to, but they will likely come out way ahead on drink and wing sales

Did this a few weeks ago.
4 guys, $10 for apps, maybe $80 on beer. Tipped the waitress $30.
Had a blast.
But some groups will do $10, water with lemon, and no tip.

I'm pretty sure they already did this awhile back. When we ordered it, there were only 4 choices of appetizers.

I hate the premise of automatic tipping but this is how these folks make their living. If you aren’t going to tip at least the minimum on adequate service, go through a drive thru.
