Rough neighborhood is my understanding. The guard might be sufficient at stopping shoplifters or a robbery, but he's useless against a dude in a flak jacket with an assault rifle.

There is always a sheriff deputy at the grocery I shop at in Metairie. I would not consider the area a high crime area.

99% he either
A) passed a BC to get it
B) stole it from someone who legally owned one

I read, but not confirmed, 11 black people and 2 white people were shot.
Just to be clear, not saying they all died. I believe at least 2 that may have been shot have survived so far.
