There was one in BR years back, Florida at Airline. It lasted maybe two years.

Me too, this combination and a split order of chili cheese fries got me through more hangovers than I can count back in the day. My wife and I close out our returns to New Orleans with a Bud's lunch damn near every time we go. There are better burgers around but gawd, they will always hold a solid place in my heart(maybe that's an artery clogging).

I don't believe you. I remember there being one in LaPlace by the movie theater after Katrina. I think Dot's Diner or New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Co. is there now.

It was always an institution in my family, especially any time my dad was with us. If we had to go to the airport? Bud's. If we were heading near City Park? Bud's. If we were going to Zephyr field? Bud's. Hungry on the way back from Mardi Gras? Bud's.
