They certainly do.
Food budgets are one place where I seldom fight with a client. It's important to understand how much you're spending, and what the opportunity cost is, but for many people it's a form of entertainment.
Some people spend thousands of dollars a year on hobbies like fishing, hunting, golf, etc., some spend it on food/dining out. It's only a problem if it cuts into other priorities.

That you're eating well on $1000 a month for 4 people, basically 4 adults no less.
I broke it down for you. Other people have said the same thing. But since you won't break down your own budget I have no idea why it costs you so much.
And you also picked an argument for no reason because my initial claim was simply that they had room to cut spending on their food budget. And they do. But picking arguments and bickering endlessly with people over it is your MO.

I posted exactly what we said to each other initially. No reason to keep lying.

If you're going to keep saying shite that isn't true, I'll keep "bickering."
ETA: And I still don't believe you never eat out besides once a month. Kids never get drive through, wife doesn't get food somewhere, none of that. It's extremely unlikely. And even if what you're saying is 100% fact, you are an extreme minority.

Not "what we said to each other initially". My first post wasn't in response to you.

I have no dog in this fight but this is funny. Like the other dude said, you’ll argue with a stop sign.

I don't care what you believe. I never said they needed to do that. I said that they had room to cut their food budget. That's my argument. What is your actual argument here? Are you contending that they don't?

I argue in here just to show the majority stupidity.
Lotta blowhard think they know it alls in the entire OT.
But, it's humorous and comical, and passes my down time, so "Long Live the OT"!

My child care for two next year will be around $80 between nanny and school.

1. $60k for a house. That’s a million. Go find a 350k house. Saving 12k per year.
2. $42k childcare. Hire a full time nanny and pay $30k. Saving another 12k per year.
There are a lot of cities where these items aren't feasible.

Must be some Cadillac pussy on that ole nanny.

How do you "feel average" while driving 150k worth of vehicles, live in a 1.5 million dollar house, take 3 vacations a year, and contribute 36k per year to your 401ks?
This. I'd consider myself middle class, or "average", and I'm not in a $75k car or a $1.5MM house. Not even close.
Just goes to show you how far people's view of the world is skewed. Lots of people are very entitled.

I hate to sound like Dave Ramsey here but why are you borrowing money for a car if you are making $500k a year?
Time value of the money assuming 0% financing.
Surprised nobody has mentioned the perks that could get with decent credit cards as well.

Also, it's SO fricking easy to entice an argument in this place of fricking goobers that have never been out of Mommy and Daddy's care!!!

Dave Ramsey is a blowhard idiot.
