Exactly. Transgender people were around long before I was born, and they will be around long after I’m gone. Nobody really cared. Mostly they went unnoticed and they blended in with the crowd.
People are sick of it being everywhere and shoved down their throats. I feel like the trans people of past would never want this. They were almost intentionally a silent group, IMO. This Dylan fellow is a prime example of our social media attention whores of today.

I just want it all to stop. I want the vitriol against traditional values to stop. I want to drink beer without propaganda. I want to watch sports without propaganda. I want to watch a music awards show without an agenda crammed down my throat. Its not just about the beer can, its about feeling animosity from the very people to whom we are giving our money. Its the feeling of intentional provocation of the "fly over" "deplorables" "clinging to bible and guns" "disgusting fratty" people that just want to be left alone.

Here's how this is going to go. There will be a period of over-the-top "attention whoring", and then finally we'll all collectively go "fine!" and things will settle down and there will be a bit less ostracization than before.

You’re acting like DM is just some “normal” trans person. He is a fricking pervert freak who has only been a “girl” (his words) for about a year. Acting like a young girl is his gimmick/shtick. It’s very disturbing

If being accepting of people is "feeding" or "normalization" of whatever, then if you ask me resentment of that is the mental illness.
but that's the point, we aren't treating these people as normal people. We are putting them on a pedestal and worshiping them. And now we are doing it in spaces where they don't belong. ie, TAMPONS. Calling biological mothers "birthing persons" so as to not offend the one confused woman who had her boobs cut off. Its a classic case of "your right to swing your arm ends where my nose begins" They can do them, but don't call me a birthing person. Don't come into my locker room, and don't confuse my kids in school.
If they wanted a normal person on a beer can, I submit for consideration my old little league coach Merrill Johnson. Man dragged himself to work every day, still made time to teach a bunch of us girls in a fly over state how to crush a ball. Weirdly more progressive and feminist than insisting that a woman can have a penis.

You think we'll get to a point where society willfully modifies their proper use of gender and language to accommodate Trans sensibilities? I dont.

Yeah, sure. Cause 'they' haven't shown ANY inclination to just keep angling for more and more.
Where is the Nashville shooters tran-ifesto???

I want $1,000,000,000 but dont think that is happening anytime soon
My brother in christ, we are a capitalist nation, the companies will do as they please regardless if you get butthurt about it or not

quote:Just the opposite. Anyone in a group whose name you know is not "normal". They are the over-the-top attention whores that everyone just wants to go away, and once that happens the "normal" ones in the group will be a little more welcome.

ya'll hear about the signage that was set fire in abita springs. some subtle transgender messaging and they going after it as a hate crime.

normal people get pissed cause the media portrays the world as hate against them. we hate that they are attention whores fake hating them. Just stay the frick out the girls bathrooms when our kids are using the restrooms in public places and schools.

I think we're pretty close to the end of this phase, and within a few years a certain group can be a little more open and honest about who they are without having to hide, and everyone else will be like "eh whatever" and that'll be good enough.

Getting weaker and weaker with every violent act. Their collective mental illness is rising to the surface with great speed.

It is only because we aren't celebrating them more loudly, everyone needs to put up a rainbow flag on their car and house to let them know that we are celebrating them.

it’s amazing how quickly we went from:
and we just want equal rights. to:
and every major American corporation bending the knee to Pride month, employees being forced to use pronouns, doctors asking obvious biological men if they’ve ever had a period, etc, etc, etc,…. but nevermind all that because
i wonder what certain group wants to feel more comfortable next?
