Probably a few more short orders to fill before they backtrack and stop the woke distractions.

I am not a bud light drinker normally so I have not paid attention to see if they are cheap. I will have to start looking out if places are pricing it at half the price of other macro beers.

Pretty sure trans is a fetish held by less than 1% of people.
I was being generous.
But either way, you’re right. It makes no sense, from a business standpoint, for a company to promote cross-dressing homosexual fetishism when, not only is this sub-set of their customer base infinitesimally small, but is also dwarfed by those in their target demographic who find that particular fetish abhorrent.

Gotta signal those virtues for that sweet, sweet social credit…..errr…..ESG score.

Not a single case or 12 pack look like it had moved in weeks at my local AG store yesterday.

Coors has always been the most “progressive” of major beer companies. The outsider to the big eastern breweries and over in hippy Colorado.
Yep
"Always" in incorrect. Adolph Coors (the founder) was very conservative and donated a lot to the Republican party. In fact, there was a strike/boycott in the 60's/70's centered around the Coors family's support of right wing politics and claims that Coors discriminated against blacks and Hispanics in their hiring practices.
Coors was LONG looked at as a very right-wing company until really about the late 90's/early 2000's when Coors starting changing a bit with the west coast ideologies (basically about the same time Colorado starting morphing into a more liberal state). Pete Coors, the former CEO, ran for Senate as a Republican in 2004.
I guess because Coors really didn't start to become somewhat popular in the south/east until the mid-late 80's, many here don't realize it had the reputation of being a "right-wing" company for most of its existence
As for Bud Light, they didn't hide what their marketing strategy would be this summer. They aren't ever going to "apologize" for the transgender debacle. They are instead going to spend a shitload of money to advertise BL ad nauseum and try to become the exclusive beer sponsor of many events to in effect force consumers to choose between BL or not drinking. All with the hope that consumers would rather drink BL than not drink at all, and in the process forget about the boycott.

that execs refuse to make an actual apology because of the backlash
This is the scary part of all of this, to me. In the minds of these corporate executives, the backlash of an apology is worse than their stock price plummeting or their top product losing 25% (at least) of its sales.
This all but confirms (to me) that ESG and CEI scores are definitely playing a part in all of this.

LSU Alex Box had perfectly stocked windows..not a single beer was missing yesterday..
It would’ve taken giving it away free to make a dent.
P.S Folks pay attention to other brands under their ownership..Stella,etc..
