I don't either, from what I understand it's a gas station right? I'm not driving all the way to the north end of town just to use a gas station.

Isn't that the hood in Lafayette?

Nope.

Breaux Bridge right along I-10 would be a better location.

Speaking of hoods.

The new Colorado one broke a record and did 850k in sales in one day, not counting gas.

Rue Royale is about a hafl mile from there, which is a paragon of shithole section 8 apartments.

La Bonne Vie is also a dump, and is walking distance from that location.

Winrock Valley's not winning any prizes now, either.

It's hood adjacent, if not hood.

Very few things right off the interstate in a city, even a small one are not hood adjacent. That particular exit is less so than the others in Lafayette. The Scott exit would have been the only option that is marginally Lafayette to put one not really hood adjacent.

What the hell? There’s a bojangles in Duson? Has to be the only one in the state. I’ve never seen one west of Georgia.
Apparently we have 4. Duson, Ruston, West Monroe, and Monroe.

News to me Bojangles

I spent the first 25 years of my life within a mile of that exit location-- most before that exit existed, and watched it devolve.

But, please enlighten me more, coonass.

Not the case at all. Having one close by would just take away the special-ness of it. That, and I don't have faith that the planning/traffic/floodwater mitigation will be done correctly right there.

All better than anything in St. Martin parish.

The Louisiana Avenue exit has been rumored for months now. Guess it’s finally getting serious. That’s a good spot for them.

Another one is somewhere along I-12 between Baton Rouge and Hammond.
