Don't you play with my emotions, boy.

Let's hope the idiot BR politicians didn't screw LA out of ever having one.

I'm not. This came from some Livingston Parish council folks in the last month. It's going to be in LP not Tangi.
Satsuma, Livingston, Holden, or Albany exit.

I always thought west of the "new bridge" on 10 made the most sense.

But I'm guessing there a lot of cheap land in the LP. And the LP council baws are probably willing to kick in some incentives. And a lot of Texas traffic headed east, take I-12.

Buc-ee's is to TD as
In-N-Out is to west coasters

It's aight but hardly lives up to the excessive hype.

I was expecting something great based on the frequent threads and was underwhelmed by the gas station with a bunch of over priced high calorie fair food.

I've been to buc-ees plenty of times in Texas and Bama and had the brisket sammiches a bunch. They are fine but not my favorite thing. They are definitely popular and fresh through.

Try the ham and cheese sandwich. Of a breakfast burrito or beef jerky or beaver nuggets or the chocolate covered pecans. Mammoth pecans, honey glazed pecans etc, etc, etc.

Kind of funny it’s going in Richmond. It’ll be basically the only thing there outside of EKU

Well yeah, but Richmond is a decent size town, and of course the real draw is I75.

For Bucee's it's all about the interstate or major highways. You won't find them in the middle of any town. Maybe on the outskirts like Terrell, Texas but there, there's Interstate 20. Little Madisonville Texas... I 45 Houston to Dallas traffic.

Obviously I75 has a ton of daily traffic, and Richmond exits are easy to get off of and back on, and it's before the congestion of Lexington, and Cincinnati, but close to those areas, so to me the location makes perfect sense.

Do the Buccee’s in other states (not Texas) sell kolaches?

Many fishing trips have started with their breakfast tacos.

Before or after the loop? And how many studies need to be done by relatives firms before it can get a permit?

I don’t know about all of the others but I have gotten kolaches in Alabama.

The jerky and the "hot crackers" are my go-to.

This. Putting it on either side of the 75/64 corridor here in Lexington makes the most sense out of anywhere in the state. That stretch between Cincinnati and Knoxville is always busy. Smart decision.

I'm sure they'll put one over on 65 around Etown at the end of the BG between Louisville and Nashville too eventually.

I’m all the way on the far west side of the state. Richmond too far

I’ve been to the one near Gulf Shores off I-10. It’s nice

That would make sense. Or somewhere around Simpsonville or Shelbyville. Outside of Louisville, but catch all the I64 traffic going either way. They just redid the exchanges for Simpsonville when the outlet mall went in, so there makes a lot of sense to me. Only about a 45 minute drive from my house, so I approve. Won't have to use the bathroom at home anymore
