Kind of funny it’s going in Richmond. It’ll be basically the only thing there outside of EKU.

My brother in Texas told me about the brisket man in the middle of the store for years before I ever set foot in a buc-ees. I never truly appreciated it until I walked in and had that “holy shite, he’s slicing up brisket for tacos” moment.

The Ohio Navy will have a place to fill up on their way to Lake Cumberland now.

I've been to Buc-ee's once and I got the brisket sandwich and I thought it was very good, but I saw people on here saying they didn't like it and that there are other items that are much better to get... I either hit them on a good day or something, but it was slammin.

Chris. Buc-ees is a safe discussion topic for you and I. A neutral zone topic if you will.

You need to try the warm homemade chips and/or the warm candied pecans/cashews. Also, sausage on a stick wrapped in a tortilla is pretty fire.

The one in Leeds, AL outside of B'ham is about to open. What is the big attraction? Is it worth going out of my way to check it out?

I've had their tacos for the most part, but the sandwich was great for lunch. Especially with a stack of raw onions.

I've made up to a 20 mile detour for Buc-ees. Thats about as far out of my way as I would go for it.

there are at least 3 major chain BBQ restaurants in texas that have worse brisket sandwhiches than bucees, and thats not including all the terrible mom and pop places in the one horse towns. its a quality sandwich that gets you plenty bang for your buck

Damn, why Richmond? There isn't any reason to go there.

I've been to buc-ees plenty of times in Texas and Bama and had the brisket sammiches a bunch. They are fine but not my favorite thing. They are definitely popular and fresh through.

Louisiana, like always, is mother fricking last for everything, and it'll b the same for having a Bucees.

probably seems more logical to put on 65 instead of 75 but oh well.
