Buc-ee's, a chain of 33 convenience stores in Texas, is opening its first travel station outside the Lone Star State in Baldwin County.

The new 50,000-square-foot facility, which will open early next year at Interstate 10 and the Baldwin Beach Express, will employ 200-250 people.

Damn, it’s weird that they’re gonna open two of them in the exact same spot

Meh. I looked through the first two pages and didn’t see a post about it. Good enough for me.

On a side note, I'd like to thank the hoards of trailer trash and snowbirds that have ruined gulf shores and orange beach. Used to be a nice place to vacation.

Is it just me or are we spending too much time at gas stations?

Don’t get me wrong, I like the idea of being able to stop at a gas station to fill up my tank, buy brisket, 200 different types of beef jerky, eggs, roast beef, a yeti, and some toys for my kids, and then take a poo on a really nice toilet in a clean restroom.

But I don’t know if I really want to do any of those things at a gas station (other than get gas and deuce if my poo schedule is off). I just want to fill up, buy some skittles and get back on the road.

It’s insane to think about a gas station employing 250 people. And don’t they pay everyone like $20 an hour?

This Board's obsession with a gas station chain is one of the strangest things I've seen on TD.

Supports MS-13 illegal entering the country & going wherever they want, pissed off by lower middle & old white people travelling as they please.

No worse than it’s obsession with “trashy” and truck nuts

Will we see these huge convenience store chains take over and put the little trashy ones out of business?

Alabama construction is OOC if they’re building two in one spot.
