how much could he bench

I've heard he could rep 250 or more.

Not sure on legs. I know he did tons of one leg pistol type squats etc.

He focused lots on isometrics.

Before all the Bruce Lee bull shite starts, it is a fact that size beats technique pretty much every time. If a guy is big enough, like the guy you describe, and he gets hold of you... Game Over.

I matched against a guy not much smaller than that at a CQB course and it was all good until he managed to ground me and get on top. There wasn't shite I could do. Frankly, it was fricking terrifying being crushed by someone that big.

nonsense, a trained and skilled big fighter will beat a trained and skilled small fighter almost always, but a small trained fighter would destroy an untrained big guy every time.

Bruce Lee was fast, super fast, and that defeats size in so many ways. Especially when you have the fighting skills of Bruce Lee

I doubt any current NFL lineman could last 3 rounds with Bruce Lee in his prime.

Why do people think Bruce Lee was an actual fighter?

You are naming the person who became famous for showcasing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to the world... a martial art which is designed to beat people who are much larger.
He also posted a picture of a fatass cheeseburger eating walking heart attack

Unfortunately nobody knows how good of a fighter Bruce Lee was. He was a good actor, but how good of a fighter we'll never know.

like DC just beat Stipe when he went back up a weight class, giving up 6 inches of height and more reach.
what this is in no way comparable. Dc actually weighed more than stipe in that fight. One man was not considerably stronger than the other. But there's a reason there are weight classes. Just about every heavyweight in UFC would knock tj dillishaw or mighty mouse Johnson's lights out. And those are 2 of if not the 2 greatest pound for pound fighters in the world. Yes size matters and a 6'7 300 pound athletic nfl lineman would absolutely maul Bruce lee in a ring or octagon. In a street fight Bruce would probably run away. I know I sure as hell would.

So, there's a point in weight and skill gap where it doesn't matter either way. If both fighters are equally skilled, the larger fighter will win 8.5/10 times... A smaller badass has a good chance versus a larger one...you see it in MMA ...like DC just beat Stipe when he went back up a weight class, giving up 6 inches of height and more reach.

I think that’s a good general assessment except to add that there are always unique variables to each fighter and fight. Even skill doesn’t speak to stamina and toughness, and big guys often lack the former and may not necessarily have the latter just because they are big.

so, in your reality, a guy that trains and teaches, to a ridiculous extent, every day of his life can't fight? Even innovates new martial arts techniques, yea that guy can't fight. Never mind he actually did fight several times, and always won. But you're right. You're a realist. Idiot

And I have killed millions of special forces soldiers on Call of Duty. Fact.

Bruce Lee was a physical specimen. Very fast, very strong. For his weight class. But I have never seen a legitimate fight. All I see are off camera stories of people swearing he’s a fighting legend. Not enough for me. Word of mouth has a funny way of being exaggerated.

And boo hoo krewe is a troll.

We have no idea if he can fight or not. He studied martial arts techniques. He practiced martial arts techniques. Could he actually perform in a fight? No idea.

He was a martial artist, a teacher, a philosopher, and an actor, not a fighter... because being a fighter means you actually fight. Right?

You think he can destroy ANY non-trained fighter, regardless of any athletic or size disadvantage? That's dumb as frick, dude.

Apparently he got into a street fight in China one time and fought another teacher one time, although the details are a bit sketchy.

If he were so confident in his fighting abilities, you'd think he'd actually enter a martial arts tournament.

Not one.

Martial artist, teacher, philosopher, actor. Not a fighter.

Kevin Nash is about 6'11 and weighs around 350lbs. Chris Benoit was 5'9ish and weighed about 230lbs. I have heard shoot interviews from Nash on Benoit. He knew Benoit would beat his arse in a fight. Size can be overrated..

And Royce isn’t nowhere near the best in his family

Royler rickson Kron and roger are along with Carlos jr

When the ufc began rorian, the oldest decided to use Royce because royler although much smaller had greater technique. People would have thought it was fixed and rickson had too much muscle and the best technique so he picked Royce to show how effective their jiu jitsu was.
you need to look up the gracie's hunter. They were good because none knew what bjj was basically so no one game planned for it. Once you know what to expect it wasnt that effective
