Size doesn't matter. If you don't train, you will feel pain.

Size and technique or a little less technique can beat a technician who is significantly smaller

But you can’t just be big and have no technique or knowledge

9/10 I’ll take the guy who knows 10 moves and has practiced it 10,000 plus times compares to someone who knows 100 moves practiced them only 100 times

For reference, see the Tyson vs Lee threads.

It's comical.
Seriously. I cannot believe grown adults believe the nonsense about martial arts, and specifically Bruce Lee.

Bruce Lee did great things for martial arts, but it's nuts that people act like he's some unbeatable fighter.

We have no idea what shape the lineman is in. Would he beat Logan Mankins in his prime? No. Would he beat some random offensive tackle for the Seahawks? Probably.

It’s more of the gap in technique than weight imo

Yeah one of the top BJJ guys in the world can overcome a huge weight disadvantage and win, but Bruce Lee was not a top flight BJJ guy, he was a movie Kung Fu guy.

Lee would eventually be overcome by the size advantage and be subdued.

You are naming the person who became famous for showcasing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to the world... a martial art which is designed to beat people who are much larger.

Bruce Lee did not know Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Bruce Lee would've been a phenomenal pass rusher at OLB in a 3-4 defense.

In what way? He could not stand up to the run, and I don't think he had the strength to bull rush.

Don’t underestimate the ability of NFL linemen. They are some seriously tough sons of bitches and can generate and an enormous amount of power. And, they are quick on their feet.

Dalton in Roadhouse would disagree with you.

I'm not disputing the fact that Bruce Lee would probably lose to someone the size of an NFL lineman... I'm just saying that the statement "size beats technique pretty much every time" is false.

You haven't seen the Seahawks line in a couple of years is what I gather from this statement. They are some of the least athletic people out there.

It was a joke on how shitty the Seahawks tackles are, outside of Brown.

And Royce isn’t nowhere near the best in his family

Royler rickson Kron and roger are along with Carlos jr

When the ufc began rorian, the oldest decided to use Royce because royler although much smaller had greater technique. People would have thought it was fixed and rickson had too much muscle and the best technique so he picked Royce to show how effective their jiu jitsu was.

Give us some examples of the Seahawks linemen that would lose to Bruce Lee.
