Do some of you guys listen to the police scanner and make a thread for every shooting in that shitty city?

Being the first to post a new shooting has become the new trend
I used to buy all kinds of shite out of a certain house on bawell right in that area, wouldn’t surprise me if it’s the same group involved in this

There was a paid CI a few doors down that basically was allowed to sell coke to every white kid at lsu. I’m sure there are plenty of people in their mid/late 20’s on this board that know his name

i was thinking this was Balis behind walmart
but Bawell is extremely sketchy and i avoid that area at night
i had litter duty once and the supervisors took us to a convenient store that exists randomly around there down a 1 way street. I would have never know it existed on this street if it wasnt for them.

In the late 80's I worked for one of the local beer companies and there was a house right off bawell that had a liquor license. We would drop off 40-50 cases of quarts and 40 oz there every week. Was an old lady and her son and they sold beer out of two refrigerators they had in their front room. No idea how they got a liquor license.

What amazes me is that people want to pay top dollar to live on Longwood and Ingleside and the other streets in that area that are literally 5, 10, 15 houses away from Bawell. We drove through there when we were looking to move two years ago and decided there was no way we would buy a house, an expensive one at that, where someone could walk on foot from Bawell to our house.
Having moved from an area where foot traffic from the hood reduced our property values, we weren’t going to go through that again.
