Easy answer. She doesn't. If you have been following the SWB saga from day one, you know that she has done nothing but race bait, schedule meetings, and order studies conducted by her kick-back consulting firm. She has done little to nothing of actual substance in a positive way since she took office. She has proven to be totally incompetent on every level and she only cares about pandering to the black community. When she was first elected, I assumed she'd pretty much be a do nothing mayor. She wouldn't do much good, but she probably wouldn't be able to do much damage either. I was wrong about the latter. She is little by little literally tearing Baton Rouge apart and St. George will be her legacy.

There is nothing to settle. Not a single person or group who has investigated this matter has alleged that Salamoni put a gun to Sterling's head. It's a complete fabrication.

Well she hasn’t really gotten anything done besides splendidly frick up hires and remained quiet on the COA issue, you’d think if she was so concerned with the black community an old lady getting fricked out of her money would raise some concern but alas nothing.

Looks like the Friday video release won't be a good look for him. If his gun actually touched or appears to touch Sterlings head, he's probaby done

Again, it caused Alton to momentarily comply. Still not wise. But it certainly didn’t cause any escalation. Quite the opposite.

It's sad, but I'm guessing you actually believe that.
No matter though, because whatever he said all accounts agree it actually worked. So not sure why anyone gives a shite what he said or did because all accounts agree Alton wasn't cooperating and whatever Salamoni did and said made him comply briefly. Then when Salamoni re holstered his weapon is when it escalated again.

Figured this would have been announced and we would see footage.
I can say this on here without feeling repercussion from all the people who say "At least he didn't lose his life like Alton!", but what has the baw done for the last 18 months? I bet he had to undergo some major therapy (i know i would). What doea he do to ensure he stays unrecognizable, besides living in a different parish? Why would he want his job back?
Seriously, this domino effect started with that John Young cat calling in 911. If you ask me, mr. Young has been very quiet and no one has really asked much out of him. I am not saying Alton Sterling wasn't doing something stupid because I know he was... But it makes me wonder what current prisoner Young was up to as well.
Salamoni pulled the trigger.
Riots ensued and first got out of hand in Dallas thanks to Jeff Hood's piece of shite arse.
Black panthers swarmed BR.
Gavin Long arrived and that was the worst single day in this city.
And we are still not "over" it.

Louisiana State Police are preparing for Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul to release his discipline decisions about the fate of two BRPD officers in the Alton Sterling case Friday afternoon, according to an agency email.
The email said State Police had been told that Paul would announce his findings and then release video and audio of the Sterling shooting at 4 p.m.

That shite paragraph came directly from the 5/6/17 article right after the Federal findings were released. It came from the closed-door meeting with Sterling family,
they lawryers, and “federal officials”.
The state’s report says this:
While Officer Salamoni had his service weapon drawn, he kept it at an arm’s length from the suspect
