This The Advocate article I read about it yesterday had an interesting story about an Asian fellow stealing three birds from them in the past.
He and one of the birds (from injury later) died in a fiery auto-crash as he attempted to escape.

I find duck fat works best for chimpanzees. But peanut oil is clearly the go-to for macaques.
