My brother had a closed head injury and 1 yr long coma due to a car wreck.... He has never been the same... Seems your brother has abdominal Injurys which can heal just fine ... Prayers sent

Very sorry to hear man and thanks for sharing that. Had some abdominal issues but the main issue is his head. The top of his head slammed into the air bag which has caused a little blood on the brain and other things

Man that's tough, I hope and pray he pulls through.
Doctors can do some amazing things these days, stay strong.

I'm sure he has a lot of dedicated folks taking care of him . He sounds strong so hopefully he will be able to come back from this . He's fortunate to have family and friends that care and can help him get through this . Patiences will be needed . Prayers sent .

Having a loving family there at the hospital to support him and encourage him gives him a big advantage.

Have they diagnosed him with a type of brain injury yet?

Sending good vibes your way.
I have been in the hospital since Monday with my 2 week old daughter, she has RSV and pneumonia. They took her off of the IV, now trying to get her to breath stable by herself off of o2, no luck yet but she will pull through and your brother will too.
You are not alone, stay optimistic and think about being together after this storm rolls through.

Man I'm praying for your daughter bro. I know she will kick pneumonia square in the butt.
They haven't diagnosed anything with his brain just yet. They couldn't take a CT scan yet because he hasn't been stable but are planning on trying tonight or in the morning

Prayers for a full recovery for your brother.
My mom was run over while walking in her subdivision by a drunk driver in 2007. She was in a coma for 42 days and suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result. There was very little hope for most of those 42 days and she would have died had it not been for the doctors performing an emergency brain surgery to remove a hematoma that formed a few days after the accident.
To say it was a long recovery is an understatement, but she attended my son's third birthday party yesterday and lives a pretty much normal life today. I hope your brother and your entire family has a swift road to a full recovery
