I hate getting off I10 at College lately because there's always a begger. I saw one there at 1AM recently holding a sign. That light takes forever to get a left turn arrow so its even worse.

I was sitting at that light a few days ago and I wasn't looking at the bum so he walked up and out a little to get in my line of sight and I just gave him a thumb over the shoulder motion and mouthed get out at him and he moved on.

I hear what everyone is saying about BR but man I felt like I was stepping over them in Houston
You know it's bad when you can't even turn into your apartment's parking garage without being harassed by one.

I was surprised how bad the bums we’re in Austin. Seemed like every red lightning in the down town area had some

It's a free speech issue. You can't outlaw begging.

Hot Springs banned panhandling a few years ago. Not long after the ACLU sued and got the law reversed.

I'm pretty sure they are organized. I saw a group of them in the Target parking lot splitting up money, getting in separate cars and driving off.

Went to school in Houston 32 years ago. Two weeks ago, I drove down Chimney Rock Road in Houston and there was a god darn army of people camped out under the I-59 underpass.

Had one lady holding a sign at Post Oak exit in Houston. Looked late 20’s: nice blouse with leggings, 130lbs. Don’t know if she was begging for food, money, or prostitution ?

shite if I was a street beggar I’d find my way to Austin too. Lots of liberals with disposable income. I’d summer up in Seattle when it starts getting too hot.
