I've had a couple Baton Rouge police buddies of mine say that the nephew of a fairly prominent local troublemaker is to blame

Name of prominent troublemaker? Or initials?

What’s the point when the citizens aren’t willing to help the cops by saying what they’ve witnessed?

I guess we need to all calm down, next week when Paul takes over with community policing everyone is going to get along & work together.

I can't wait for Paul to come in, start some bullshite relaxed community policing program ordered by Broome, crime spikes even more, and they all work out some Olympics level mental gymnastics in order to blame white people.

Gravy's post from today is pretty funny. He had a "work meeting" at Walk-Ons where he just happened to run into Murphy Paul the day after he was named chief. What are the odds?

I was talking about Silky Slim saying the black community got justice when Gavin Long killed those three cops. But I completely agree with you.

i did about half an hour of internet "research" (mostly youtube videos) on silky slim a few weeks ago.

it seems like he was a legitimate, respected, and violent gang leader... if you choose to believe what is said the videos. BR is so fricked.

I'm not going to say anything specific in order to not slander anyone who hasn't been charged and could be innocent, but no it's not a politician.

With all his preaching to the black people of BR on how black people should be only buying from black owned business, im shocked he is having lunch meetings at a restaurant owned by rich white people and a customer base of 95% white people

This is your new chief of police for Baton Rouge Murphy Paul. I just happened to be having a lunch meeting this afternoon and Chief Paul walked in the door. He came over to our table, spoke and went to meet with his party. After he ate lunch, his guest left, he then began introducing himself to people in the restaurant. After speaking to people at several tables he sat with us briefly for a chat and went on his way.

To see this brother take the time simply to say hello to strangers and introduce himself was commendable. His first official day on the job is Monday, if this is a sign of things to come we may be in for some change. Just thought I would share that with you all today.

I just want to know what important figure he was meeting at Walk-On's on a Saturday and how he somehow managed to be in the same restaurant as Murphy Paul who just so happened to also be going around Walk-Ons introducing himself to random people as Gravy secretly watched.

Sounds like some Broome administration propaganda bullshite to me.
