Me too. I like them. That said, I also do not like the one that Broke posted in this thread.

never understand these types of comments. People spend their money in different ways. Are you making a claim to some sort of superiority? You know, it really comes off as a "you can't afford it" type of comment, and that you aren't confident in yourself.

You've been around this joint for almost 10 years. You know that the primary form of currency is this kind of trash talk. What about it do you not understand?

Of course I cannot afford a watch like that. I'm too busy putting underpinning on my single wide. On the installment plan. Thank you very much.

I don't understand this kind of adjective. What is a legit watch?

Are you somewhat saying that it's a pretentious, please notice me kind of watch?

I'm confident enough in myself, and comfortable enough as a man, not to have to spend that kind of money for a piece of jewelry that works no better than a $65 Casio.

Do all of your clothes come from Goodwill? Or are you too insecure to shop there? What about your vehicle, is it the cheapest possible vehicle that can still "get the job done"? I'm assuming that you live in one of those "tiny houses" too, because that's all you really "need".

Do you see how stupid this mindset is? Everyone has things that they are willing to spend money on that they don't "need". Half of the idiots who feel like you probably drive a truck that is double the price of what is "needed".

ETA: I now see that you were trolling, carry on

I also don't like the watch, but I don't understand the mindset of caring that someone would spend a few thousand on one.

I would presume he means his first high quality, automatic or mechanical watch.

Damn, you make great points for someone taking this way too seriously. I should stop posting. I apologize for trying to have fun.

My watch isn’t flashy. It’s not about being noticed. By “legit” I mean something that gives you a chance to get upset over how men spend their money.

Not a fan of the yellow inside the band. Nice watch. Wouldn’t pay $4k+ though.

If I was going to drop $4450 on what is essentially a piece of status jewelry, I think I'd opt for an item with a bit more precious metals and precious gemstones - and give it to a woman.

To each his own, though.

So you’d spend it on something even less useful?

If I buy a piece of jewelery for $4000 for a girl, I’m dipping my pen in the ink well. So....money well spent?... maybe not.

If it takes you spending $4000 on jewelry to dip your pen in the ink well, I can direct you to some service providers that will be more economically advantageous.
