That's a very likely scenario. And if true, that gal has no business getting pregnant and bringing a child into that situation.

A friend of the family's daughter who was a heroin addict got pregnant and had a child who was born addicted since the mom never stopped doing heroin the entire time she was pregnant.

That child was held at the hospital to be detoxed before being able to be sent home with the mom, who let her relatives raise it.

This child will never get to know her mom since she was not involved in her upbringing and her addiction eventually led to her OD'ing and dying in her late 30's.

We later found out that the child's biological father also died of an overdose not long after her mother.
