Wearing only her underwear and clutching a feeding 4-month old baby, the mom chased after the eagle to save her goose.

Video was a little disappointing.

I was told by a teacher, (Blue blood lie fresh in my head) that the Bald Eagle is so protected that you can not harm them in any way. Including protection of livestock. I know they are thick as Seagulls in Alaska. So I doubt that's true. Though I heard being in possession of a feather is a crime.

That headline is information-dense and confusing, but accurate.

From what I've heard it is a crime to be in possession of eagle feathers unless you are native American for religious purposes.

So...........I HAVE to harm them? That doesn't seem right.

Goose was more than holding its own.

Eagle was scrambling before the woman entered the frame.

Where does this story keep popping up?

I’ve seen it multiple times, including 3 times here over the last year or so.

Same here.

It's only 10 words, but it tells a rich story of four characters and the struggles of life. A mother feeding, a baby eating, an eagle trying to eat, and a goose trying to not be eaten.
