Indecent exposure. If you can get indecent exposure for urinating when most of the time you aren't going to see the snatch or the penis.

Peeing is more natural than breast feeding, seeing as everyone pees. Not everyone breast feeds.

My problem is that "if it's not wrong, you don't have to be modest," is illogical.

well modesty is subjective

a woman has on a low cut shirt and most don't mind, but if she lowers that shirt another inch and puts a kid in front of her boobs, people lose their minds

*my wife always covered while breastfeeding

Ask that question to the people that give moms shite for feeding their child or want them to go in the bathroom or into a car.

or maybe they could plan their schedules around the baby feeding times.

You mean the social stigma of showing your tits in public? You want to show your tits in public, expect men to stare at them, and expect them to maneuver around to get better views if it's a nice titty. That will never stop happening. Women are stupid.

Women might be stupid, but guys that get off on women breastfeeding are creepy as frick

Don't they feed like every other hour? Are you saying however long a baby breastfeeds (which is often a year), a woman should never leave the home for more than an hour?

Feel free to keep your man titties covered in public places. Otherwise, stay out of their business.

"Oh, sorry Grandma. Can't make you 80th birthday because I had a baby 8 months ago"

"Oh, we can't make Paw's funeral because we had a baby last year"

Cue the OT thread

"My stupid fricking sister in law had a baby almost a year ago and won't attend family functions. Why does having a baby change you?!"

Of course it is, but that doesn't mean social norms don't exist. If we agree that modesty exists, then it's an illogical notion that because an action is acceptable, it must be acceptable to do publicly.

This isn't a difficult thought experiment to carry out.

It is perfectly natural and acceptable to have a penis. Why should I have to cover it?

I have raised three kids, all breastfed, from two very different women. Never in the years of breastfeeding them were they so ill prepared that they had to whip a tit out at the grocery or at the Subway.

It takes a little bit of awareness, and even if YOU dont think others SHOULD be uncomfortable you recognize that they may be and you just work through it. Not really a tough concept for those that arent completely self absorbed.

Yes, you are raising a child, but they are just one of billions on the planet.

well...that is the goal of the "movement", to change the social norm of breastfeeding in public as immodest

I don't want to see your nasty flapjack titties. Have some pride and keep those things hidden.
