I don't know who you are, TH, but I have been divorced.

It's better to be with someone who wants to be with you than forcing something that doesn't work.

I can empathize. Better days ahead for both of us!

Cut ties completely. Block their number. Remove them from social media accounts. Do it all.

Then get a hobby.

First mistake. And you're right - it's not helpful at all.

Probably should take a weekend and just get out of town or go on a small vacation...get it out of your system.

Don't start dating right away - get comfortable with yourself and enjoy your own company.

No contact is the way to go. Very hard at first, but it gets better as time goes on and you stick with the program. Keep your chin up

Honey I am sorry to hear about this. Its a shame all these assholes treat this as a joke. You are an attractive woman and while I am sure it is not easy right now, it might be an opportunity to find even more happiness that you had.

When someone's dog dies, the best way to get over that dog is to get a new puppy.. Go find a new puppy.

It's bullshite BTW.

If the person was more than just an infatuation, then the wounds are always there. You just learn to live with them.

Kind of an extreme example proving the point of the saying being wrong: would you ever say that to a parent who lost their child? If they are in a feedback loop of "what if's" even though they weren't responsible for their death?
