fricking stupid. LSU decided to cop out. They can deny responsibility if a student runs off the road because they closed campus (for a couple hours), but they still force everyone to take their finals

Did anyone think LSU was going to actually close? They never do. It would have to snow a foot or more for LSU to cancel.
ETA: and BRCC cancels anytime it even rains hard so it’s not much of a comparison

As bad as that sounds it is better for those out of state students who have flights scheduled to go home.

Go check out the list. Every college and school except LSU closed. Including government offices. Everyone else put safety above maintaining normal operations. LSU is the only one to put their normal operations above the safety of their students, faculty, and employees. It's stupid and I hope no one gets hurt because of their stubbornness
