The number of posters who this applies to FAR exceeds the number who get shot or carjacked.

The fact that you feel the need to make this statement speaks volumes.

Cmon man....it's been nonstop doom and gloom around here for a couple of years.

Lemme take you to St Charles for Fat Tuesday....let your Houston hair down, we'll serve you a taco or two.

Jesus why does everyone have to come here and post about their parade experience. It’s the new covid thread.

It's not all wine and roses. I went to Muses and I got fricking murdered, so there's that. I will NOT be back!

I was mostly fricking around about how we get a bunch of daily coverage of the same thing.

Btw I’m from the west bank and a former Endymion and Toth member.

Probably because we have to read 1000 posts daily about how we’re all going to die in Nola and everyone who lives here is a retard.

Seems like forever ago, gotta squeeze some fun in before ww3.

We set up on Orleans and there is no riff raff in that area. Lots of college and high school kids however Kind of been that way for about 15 years now. We used to have a friend with a house there so that was our spot.

Not sure what you meant - but the part of Orleans on the Endymion route has always been good

My brother and I used to ride our bikes through the campers on the neutral ground in the 1990s

Maybe I've never done it right. I nevergwt I voted to tailgate on route or house parties. Mardi gras ways seems lame to me and miserable

Yeah it’s always been a good crowd, it’s just that at some point much of it turned into a big frat parties with couches and crap out there.
Not a big deal, but just very damn crowded. And adding the band stage on Orleans back toward City Park just made it worse.

Yeah, people just love to shite on NOLA Mardi Gras for no reason. I've watched parades nearly every year since the 80's in the Lower Garden District, and I'm still alive. I haven't noticed any change in the LGD safety wise at all. I know Endymion doesn't usually go through the LGD and didn't this year. I'm just talking NOLA Mardi Gras parades in the area in general.

shite on me all you want. I'm having a perfectly safe and very fun time and you're being a miserable cat butt faced Karen somewhere else. That's a you problem.
