Where was the fricking cop at the school? Pathetic that kid had to die trying to save his classmates while the SRO was nowhere to prevent this from happening. Yet another example of government not preventing shite.

SRO can't be everywhere. How big was this school? I went to a HS that was 3 stories, several long hallways on each floor, not counting seperate wings athletics, band, arts, plus cafeteria. 2 SRO's for nearly 2500 kids.
Everything probably went down in a matter of seconds. Shooter pulls out the first handgun and it jams, that's when the other kid who happened to be standing there walked up and was killed. The chances of an SRO just happening to be standing in that exact spot, the shooter pulling out his gun with a cop in the immediate area, and the SRO being able to stop him before he got shots off would be astronomically low. Most people in the immediate area probably didn't even realize what was happening until shots started ringing out. And the SRO wherever else he was in the school, probably his office, probably didnt get word until the time the custodian took the kid down.
The way it's described sounds very fast. Definitely not a Columbine or Va Tech situation with shooter(s) wandering around for an extended period of time.

If we make a law making it illegal to buy guns if it's illegal for you to buy a gun that would make it doubly illegal and guarantee that the illegal gun sale would never happen.

While this does happen there are laws governing it.
You, as the seller, have to reasonably believe that the buyer is otherwise able to purchase a gun legally from an ffl. Obviously a high school teen would not qualify.
If that's how he got the guns the seller would be in some serious trouble.

Most of these kid gun shootings come down to irresponsible gun ownership and parents being in denial that their kids are having issues at school. Most of those issues probably come from bullying.
Because parents are so good at recognizing homicidal tendencies in their children. See every mother of a dindu nuffin ever.
