If I was a family member of the State Trooper who was just ambushed & killed while sitting in his patrol car, I would have zero qualms about waiting to sit in the witness room as he was put to death. Zero. I have a friend whose 17 yr old daughter was brutally ....mutilated...raped & then strangled to death. I would pay to sit in the witness room to see him put to death.

A broken watch is right twice a day. The death penalty is a completely failed policy. It fails as a deterrent. It fails to protect society. It fails as a punishment.

Sometimes the state has to put the most dangerous among us down for good. I am comfortable with that reality.
