Glad to hear from you. I figured that's probably the hookah lounge that you use.

The only time I'm ever up at 1am is to take a leak or one of the occasional times I have to work in the middle of the night

not gonna lie, I'm getting a little nervous about my resale value. I need my youngest to get out of school ASAP. Unfortunately, that's in five years.

If this was in NOLA, our typical NOLA fan boys would be in here defending/explaining this away as no big deal

Starting to warm up here too. It's about that time where I can't wear my hoodie in the morning anymore. Hope I don't get swamp arse with this heat wave coming through.

Had someone get shot in downtown SD over the weekend bc of it. So sad we don't want to lower crime by stopping climate change.

We live in the general vicinity off of S Harrells Ferry. Our current plan is to sell this house in 2 years or so. One reason is simply that we won't need a house this big with no kids at home anymore.

They put a bunch of rent controlled/Section 8 apartments on Hooper down by Plank years ago. That's down there by Bella Noche.

That’s been a long time problem in BR is section 8 housing.

O’Neal has had it since I was little, Sherwood is over taken with it.

It’s part of why I’m 100 percent against apartments going up in the county we live in. They will eventually turn into shite holes.

I think the condo town homes won’t or they turn to shite at a much slower rate. Apartments can turn to shite in a hurry.

They are building another huge complex off of Millerville right now and off of Bluebonnet and Burbank right near a bunch of middle class, upper middle class neighborhoods.

Both look pretty nice now but what will they look like in 10 years?

In 5-10 years they will be St Jean apartment types and their residents will be terrorizing the mid class hoods which will lead to more people leaving.

Way back when they pushed the idea of St Jean apartments being high end apartments. They even mentioned a golf course. Look how that went.

The 2016 flood didn’t help,

I feel like they were almost ghetto immediately after they opened.

I went back to the old St Jean apartments maybe a year ago. They actually look better since the flood. I believe they are mostly non Section 8 now.
