The hysterics about this are funny. You sound like a crying little girl. My point is that all of your arguments have been made before in areas that have passed bans, and bars have survived.
That is completely irrelevant. This goes back to the root of capitalism, the free market, and not pandering to whiny arse little bitches that are somehow starting to run this country. If you are a bar owner and you want to allow smoking in your establishment, then NOBODY should be able to tell you what the frick to do with your own property, especially the government. If you don't like that, then carry your happy arse out the door and don't come back.

You know, business owners are already subject to a myriad of restrictions and obligations imposed on them by law. To act like this is taking us over the precipice into onerous draconian government intervention in business is school-girl histrionics.

That may be, so all the more reason to stand ground on this issue.

I don't like GOVT telling businesses what they can do...and yet I like smokers even less. It's quite the conundrum.

Good. Private business owners should decide what goes on inside their establishments
agreed and I don't smoke. I think the smokers- nasty thought their habit may be- deserve a public place to smoke. Let the business owner decide what is in his best interest to do. If they want to accommodate the smokers, let them.

So this will be the hill upon which you choose to die, huh? Oh well, enjoy the fight. You will lose. And after you do, people will just smoke outside, and life will continue on as usual, with less smelly bars.

That shipped sailed a long time ago (in the case of the U.S., when it was first formed).

Different areas are different. Different bars are different. You shouldn't be able to push your ideals onto someone else's business just because you're the one who wants them. Classic SJW tactic.
Some bars have like 90% of people smoking. Hell, I know places where the one bartender will walk outside to smoke when people are still in the bar. So one person comes in there and decides they don't like the smell. Good! fricking leave then! How hard is that? There are 1000 other bars around. There are even non-smoking bars. Why wouldn't you try one of them?
The answer is because you are, in fact, a SJW, but you won't let yourself believe it. Work the 12 steps man. Start with #1 and admit that you have a problem
And then you mf'ers have the audacity to sit there and bitch about how you have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get inside. Oh the irony and hypocrisy

You're so angry. I'm not pushing for this. I don't live in BR or NO, and don't really give a shite what they do. I'm just pointing out to you that it's not the end of the world. You'll just step outside to smoke.

Yes I am angry because I do not like SJWs, and I find it funny that everyone for the ban is in denial about who they truly are.
One person should not be able to go to a bar and dictate what the other 2000 people a week do, and most importantly, shouldn't be able to effect the bar owners source of income. How hard is it to go to another bar?
What if me and my baws came into your favorite bars and started smoking? Then, we did it every day for a month and finally got the idiotic city council to ban non-smokers from bars?
Your and your kind's mindset is that you are the most important person in the world and everyone should bow to you. News flash, YOU ARE NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE WORLD.

What about court yards in FQ places? I dont know I am asking.
But long term it does not matter. Smokers are gonna smoke and adapt. You really gonna stay home and drink craft beer on your couch and smoke up your place?

Smoking cancer sticks inside a bar full of other people while consuming copious amounts of liver and stomach poisoning alcohol and eating things no one should eat in large quantities while on a variety of medications and then driving home?
Completely legal.
Sitting inside your own home, smoking some pot, and taking a nap?
Federal pound me in the arse Prison sentence
Land of the free.

No one is banning you, though. Your analogy fails. They're just telling you to step outside to smoke. And I highly doubt that a plethora of bars are going to fail because of the ban (because, guess what, all of the bars are affected in the same way).

All of you people are hypocritical as frick. You bitch and bitch about SJWs all day long and guess what you are by supporting this ban? That's right, a SJW
I hope I wasn't included in the "you people"
I do not support any such bans

Metairie bars have been doing well since the ban, but they're loaded with desperate old men and the drinks are crap. I want to start a movement that requires X amount of hot chicks to go to Metairie bars per week. It should be a law
I don't know what craft beer is and I don't smoke inside, so no.

Your smoke has been pushing it agenda literally into the lungs of others for years. Not you particular. Your actions effect my environment. Not really an SJW thing.
Bars will benefit in the long run with not having to maintain smoke eaters and ash trays. Life of a bar top has to improve after a smoking ban as well as carpet and all woodworking. Ceiling tiles.

So you don't agree with Hygiene/ health requirements? You do agree that businesses should be able to not serve african americans or other minorities....or women?
The fact is second hand smoke is classified as a carcinogen and has been shown to cause other health issues. As such, it should be regulated in any place that is open to the public like any other health threat.

They know who they are. Hopefully they'll go home today and take a good look in the mirror like nurse and evil twin did
