When it's warm and there's standing water anywhere in south Louisiana, mosquitoes are going to be horrible.

The red trucks don't do anything except kill the ones flying on the road. You're gonna have to deal with it for a few more days.

I can see four on my ceiling. They are also swarming outside my doors and windows like zombies.

Apparently my almost 2 year old is allergic to them, so when they were started biting her in her sleep I had to step things up. I spray around the house, and parts of the yard with talstar p and get very good results. I noticed Wednesday night that they were getting bad, sprayed Thursday afternoon, and haven't seen a mosquito (accept a bunch of dead ones under the carport) last night or tonight. A treatment is supposed to last 4 - 6 weeks, but I think it depends on how much rain we get. $40 for a 3/4 gallon jug on do my own pest control that will probably last me a few years spraying once a month, well worth it.

Since this summer was so dry, I thought the mosquitoes weren't too bad. With the last rain we had...malaria city. Fack!!!

This is where I bought it, LINK, you may be able to find it locally. You may also be able to find a product under a different name at a feed store with 7.9% binfenthrin. I mix one ounce to one gallon water and add a little dish detergent (surfactant).

I just went for an hour outdoor exercise and I feel like an open wound. What the hell just happened? And I have like five bottles of spray...

Bastards. I thought they would kind of die down mid day - I got ate up cutting the damn grass.
I felt like it was 7pm when those bastards are pillaging.

Not today, he's not. I'm at work so couldn't turn him out.

He was PISSED when I got him out of the pasture Thursday, thought. I'm glad the cheap bronco spray has citronella. Have you ever tried the citronella shampoo on yours? I'm thinking about trying it if these bastards don't die soon.
