i was in the horse barn last night from dusk till about 19:30- HOLY shite!! Skeeters are definitely open for business right now. I thought they were only bad in the pasture. Nah, they just as vicious in the barn and in the carport.

That's insane. Just walked my dog outside and there were shitloads of them just swarming all over the yard. WTF? Those bastards are everywhere

Article in the Advocate about this...said they can't spray with the airplane or the trucks until after this rain over the weekend. Also, these are more the nuisance type and don't carry West Nile, etc. Will die off with the colder temps and spraying in the next 2 weeks.

Brought my horse in last night to ride and he was covered in them and super irritated.
