Meh, Nakamoto only grows teeth when it’s private business doing shady shite. Seeing as this falls within the government covid guidelines, he nor his station won’t dare speak ill of the religion.

Perhaps it is time for some Catholics in Baton Rouge to create a Catholic classical academy, much as Protestants have Sequitur Classical Academy at Istrouma Baptist. Rod Dreher, reporter and writer whose children attended Sequitur, wrote this article about a Catholic classical academy he visited:
[Parents see the school as an oasis, and it’s easy to see why. I even met a young Baptist couple at the gala whose child isn’t old enough to attend yet, but who have come out to the gala to support St. Benedict school for two years in a row, because they are so grateful to have a seriously Christian classical school around. It is so encouraging to me to see and to speak with parents who love their school so passionately, and who give so sacrificially to support it.]

I hope every single one of them sues the Archdiocese, possibly a class action.

They are paid to lead and act… not sit back and “hope”.
Like I said, I recommend you reach out to them.
But, you simply don't understand what they are paid to do if you think they can decide to override the diocese. Be kind and ask them to run the message up the ladder. These people are on your side.
Like I said, a lot of people simply refuse to accept this.

That happened as I'm sure you suspect.

You sound like someone that goes into a lawyers office and starts off by saying, “Now I’m not the kind of person that sues people but….”

I do, all in Catholic schools. I’m not going to start a class action against the diocese over masks.

Please do not call or email the schools. They do not want this, they did not ask for this, and they don’t want to manage this. They are simply the messenger for what Acadian Thruway hierarchy is handing down. Trust me, this is not what they want to see with school coming back.
And to the people that say the principals are getting together… that is false, there has been no discussion as a group of coming together to fight this, or meet. Zero. I sleep with an admin nightly. They’re having a rough day as messengers.
Boo hoo. People have fricking had enough. Sometimes, when the messenger has chosen a tyrant to carry messages for, you shoot the messenger.

How are things at parkview Baptist?
Not sure. I do have a cousin with preschool and kindergarten age kids there. I'll ask next time I see them

More dumb.
Sue them for what?
Any organization, group, business has the right to determine policies that they feel are right for their own places as long as it does not discriminate based on gender, sex, religion, race, etc.
Get this through your thick heads.
Even if covid ceases to exist, if they want to, they can require mask in mass during flu season and there is shite you can do. It is their policy just like no shirt no shoes no service. Same damn thing
Can you sue a store for making you wear a shirt? No.
Never seen so many people whine about something so simple in my entire life

How about tough. Go cry somewhere else. "the schools didn't ask for this" is laughable.
I say let the pain rain. These "ivory tower" decisions need to be met with fury.

Will be talking to my marketing department about photoshopping a vaccination card for my kid if this is true in St Tammany.

Masks could act as a layer of protection preventing Priest weenies from entering student mouths.
Looking for the silver lining here.

Bet you're happy with the *president too

If forcing your child to wear a mask that isn't needed and causes more harm than good isn't enough for you to say, "enough is enough ", then what is?

Not so fast. A baker can be sued for not baking a cake.

Just got an email from SJA. Masks will be optional but highly encouraged for non-vaccinated people.
