Aloysius sent out their guidelines today and yes they are following the diocese recommendation of mask if unvaccinated

Neither SJA or CHS are diocesan schools.
Been saying this since I started this thread. Why people keep saying they are is beyond me. lol
Lets not act like they are completely separate, though.

Ok now I’m just stunned. I don’t even know what to do. I’m ready to just just quit it all. I’m in shock. I suppose my anger will set in later. I guess I’m gonna pull them out. I don’t even know what to do. I’m sick of these global “elites” stealing our freedoms. I’m ready to fight but no one will fight. We are wimps

Send them to public school

I actually think very differently. I think SJA will fight it as well as Catholic. It’s the primary and elementary schools I fear will follow this completely.
Well if the unofficial school parents' FB pages are any indicator, I disagree. It's a pretty big fire over there.

Email and call the school to let them know. Make them defend it.

I don't wanna blast their names on the internet but trust me, it's a nest of mamas madder than I've ever seen. And with good reason.

I seent it too. There are some Angry MFers out there today. Not just SJA mamas but the K-8 catholic schools in br.
In the last 20 minutes I've seen that petition shared 3 times.

The policy came from above the principals/schools. They don't have a choice.
If you want to email someone who can do something, email those who made the policy. I think their names were on page 2.

Mine are at Saint Aloysius and the faculty are reasonable.
I did not find this to be the case at all. The 8th grade teachers were maniacal about wearing masks.

I agree you don't have to put the blame on the principals or schools, but they do need to know that their school is not okay with this. Everyone needs to know this has gotten out of hand and the parents are starting to fight back. They need to feel the pressure to push back on the diocese.

Good for you. If no one takes a stand, nothing will change.
We pulled our kid out of public school this year and she is going to a small private school that is run by common sense and facts.

Meaning the elementary and primary schools will fight it? I hope so because as one poster posted earlier it seems like SJA is not going to be in lock step with the state and is only encouraging.

How are things at parkview Baptist? Are they still logical and sane ? Or have they lost their minds too?
