Hey, it's Gotcha! We’re taking our bikes off the road due to Hurricane Barry. They’ll be back on the streets once things calm down. Stay tuned. We’ll send an update as soon as our bikes are back up and rolling.

Come on, you know bikes don't get stolen while it's raining.

What a waste of taxpayer money.,
Nah, the waste of money comes in the persistent reliance on cars. When you're not afraid of having black neighbors or breaking a sweat, you've cracked the code and will have more extra bucks in your pocket than you've spent on the taxes required for this project.

He lives around downtown and works from home 95% of the time

He said anyone living within 10 miles of their work should ride a bike to work

They have bike racks on the front of the city buses, you know!

"live close enough to work and ride your bike there through rain, heat, and cold, or else you're a backwards racist"

How convenient.

He probably thinks having his home in the garden district burgled a few times a year as part of the charm of living on the front lines of the ghetto

he also sounds incredibly invested in the Gotcha bike program

imagine that, a liberal gloating about our tax dollars being spent on his niche interest

Nothing like biking for 20 miles in 95 degree heat to go meet a bunch of clients to close a business deal.

I'm sure they won't mind me coming in drenched with sweat and smelling like a gym because if I had a car and no black neighbors, they might think I'm racist

His smugness knows no bounds

It is, and I bike around all the time. "BR isn't bike friendly" is a convenient excuse for fat people, quite frankly.

Now, biking from the suburbs to BR isn't bike-friendly, but we aren't talking about suburbs.

-02, and yep. Plenty of room for new neighbors around here, too. You'll never be caught in traffic again.
