The TD Cult of SQ is alive and well. I have never once seen or heard this brand mentioned anywhere other than TD.

I'll never spend 1300 on a washer

I didn’t spend that much on mine.

Find a Mom & Pop Speed Queen dealer and walk in with ca$h.

My last set was around $1,200 cash.

Best washer and dryer made. Commercial quality. That’s why laundry mats buy them. I’ll never own anything other brand.

We bought the most expensive Speed Queen they make. Its 7000 something. W/D.

Those things are an absolute beasts. Came with 7 yr parts and labor.

Think ours was $2800 for set?

Replaced my Electrolux.

We've had the TR7/DR7 washer and dryer for 1.5 years now and, while I like the washing machine, the dryer isn't living up to the hype. I put a small load of towels and run a 90 minute cycle, and the towels are still damp. This happens often. I'm wondering at this point if I have some sort of issue with the machine.

I don't think they sell them at Best Buy or Walmarts, big city baw.

Usually it's local appliance stores.

We just purchased the same models last month. We have the same issue with the dryer a few times.

Ok I’m replying but not trying to jinx myself-I’ve got the beige 1970s Maytag washer dryer set that came with the house 16 years ago. The belt on the dryer had to be replaced by the repair man 8 years ago, when I asked him should I get the newest Maytag washer dryer combo he said, “Are you retarded?” “I can fix these forever you’d be lucky to get 7-8 years out of a new set” so didn’t replace them.how ever the Maytag Dishwasher had that Griswold Land Cruiser wood paneling on the front and I couldn’t get the repairman to fix the pump when it went on it bought a new Samsung that went after two years and bought a used Maytag unit that’s 20 years old from the repairman for 350$ with no troubles since…

That’s why I went with a cheap Maytag dryer. A dryer is a dryer to me. I’m willing to spend for a good washer.
