Pull, not with your hands, your upper lip down tighter.

It's all I've used for about 4 years now. But it's hard to believe you had a perfectly fine experience if it was your first time. I hacked my face up for about 3 weeks before I really figured it out . Now I can fly without getting cuts. At first, I was not so lucky.

Alright so I'm ready to give this safety razor schtick a try.. my fiancé and I had a discussion yesterday about how much we spent on frickin disposable razors, so this seems like a good alternative.. can anyone recommend me a starter pack or something? She wants to know what to buy me for my birthday and I figured this would be a good idea

This thread is nothing more than hipster bullshite. Use the safety razor, twirl your man bun, and teach your children that old school is always best. The styptic pencil industry loves you.

I would not suggest a novice start out with Feather blades. Unless, you like the "I was on the losing end of knife fight kinda look".

A quality starter setup would be this.

Edwin Jagger DB89 Safety Razor - not aggressive but good weight to the razor.
Omega Boars hair brush
Tube of Proraso Shaving cream red or green
Astra Blades Platinum

Well, I have used a straight razor before to shave. So I knew you dont apply pressure much at all & let the blade do the work.

Plus, I watched YouTube tutorials on shaving with a safety razor. Last night was my first time using & not a nick on me at all.

Stupid, but serious question: can you shave your junk with these razors?

I would recommend the one I bought last night for your starter safety razor. Wal-Mart has them for about $18. So, if you use it & decide you don't want to use a safety razor you won't be out of a lot of money. Plus, this one gave me a very clean and close shave. You will save a ton of money. amazon sells like 100 blades for 10-15 bucks. Here is the one I bought:

Van Der Hagen

Awesome, thanks

Can y'all recommend me a good brush and cream? I'm tall, dark, and handsome, if that matters

What the blue monkey hell are you blabbering about? I am far from a hipster. Did this thread about shaving trigger you because you can't grow facial hair? Or are just an a-hole in general due to having a micro-penis?
