Your glee is misplaced. We are about to find out how many jobs oil and gas support. Give you a hint, it’s a lot more than those directly employed. And when those high paying spinoff jobs aren’t there anymore, the smaller business they support won’t be either. Just wait

Some places on the Northshore are still around $1.99. No reason for it to be that high.

Meanwhile, the Bocage Chevron on Jefferson Highway is still at $1.99/gal.

Does anyone ever buy gas there? It’s always 20% (or more) higher than the rest of the area.
