1)Only the guilty are executed and the state always gets it right
2)You're ok with killing an innocent person every so often. You know, because it's worth it.

So you're against the death penalty, sorry. I dont think winning an argument here will change that we have it. Of course no one wants anyone innocent to get executed but shite happens. I dont think anyone of us are saying we think the courts are perfect but we are saying that those sentenced to die deserve heinous shite for what they did. Please carry on about the exceptions

You're talking about the same government that handles the VA and the IRS and Social Security, and TSA. I think it's a fair point.

The post is probably the best they'll get .

It's like they think that either our system is perfect or that killing an occasional innocent person is ok.

Usually after the liberals "prove" that the criminal was "innocent" with "dna" the executed person still had a long rap sheet

Do you oppose all war because civilians are sometimes killed? Just looking for clarity.

But if we're being honest, the (R) DA's are using that same rap sheet to emotionally convict the defendant in the public and/or jury eye.

Generally speaking I think most people are. There's a hazy line between state sanctioned murder and necessity, though.

I'll give an example. I think Hiroshima and Nagasaki ultimately saved hundreds of thousands of lives. There was no other way to end the war, even if 100,000 civilians were killed. The alternative was many more hundreds of thousands Japanese civilians and both Japanese and American soldiers dying.

Contrast that with here- Is there a life cost benefit anlysis that goes into an execution? If I don't pull the lever will other people die? I doubt it.

So? Generally speaking the state doesn't execute repeat offenders short of a capital crime.

I'm laughing at you and your pathetic emotional arguments. Staying won't bother me. Itll just be more embarrassing for you if you stay around with those lame arse arguments.

Look, if that really happened to you have my sympathies. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose someone I love violently. I can see how this would fire you up. Pretty sure I would be too.
