The demographics of South Boston haven’t changed much over the years. Boston is still a segregated city. Southie may no longer be a 100% Irish working class neighborhood, but that’s because of gentrification attracting more young professionals.
Quick google search reveled that leads straight into a new subsidized housing development. Guaranteed it was built there by politicians to “provide affordable housing and diversity to an area of Boston with escalating housing costs. “
