I miss going up to Boston

Some Trillium, Eataly, slightly cold weather and Carmelina’s sounds great right now

This thread is AbitaTigers wet dream. I don’t know what he would do if he couldn’t tell people he’s from Boston. Make a PNW one for that UGA dude and we have us a party

I'd probably just go about my business?

I've sparingly chimed in, and most of what I said actually acknowledges some of the city's issues.

Sorry it bothers you so much, I guess.

Except at Maggianos. They were excellent. We went twice because it was so fricking good

lol damn dude...

you have the entire North End at your disposal for Italian food and you go to Maggianos twice?

Don't get me wrong, I love Maggianos, especially when they basically gave you an entire second meal for free to take home, but couldn't do that in Boston

It was like 100 ft from our hotel so we hit it when we came back in from whatever it is we were doing that day.

No shite! When the waiter brought our food the first night I jokingly said "Wow! I didnt realize we ordered off of the kids menu." Portions were YUGE

I do like the city but when I was there for St Paddy's Day it was a shite show and felt like a far less friendly Mardi Gras. A lot of the New Englanders come off as abrasive. Throw in some booze and it was off-putting for me personally

Almost certainly not. I just don’t don’t chime in on where I live, unsolicited, constantly like that dude does/ used to. I’m just poking fun at him.

Funny, I saw ton's of homeless and panhandlers in Boston and very few in Chicago. Lots of green space in Chicago with numerous parks. I liked both cities and they are both fun places to visit.

Not to knock Boston really, but when I went I saw tons of homeless people. The streets were not clean, and the people were rude.

I'm not talking about the portion sizes. Yeah...one meal is enough for two people. What I am talking about is a deal they had where you could get an entire takeout meal (only from their Italian Classics part of the menu) for free with the purchase of a dine-in meal. My gf now wife would go on a Sunday night in Atlanta and have enough food to last through Wednesday
