So it's that simple huh? You go to church Jesus is happy, if you don't he is angry?
I hope you are not serious.

No, I'm taking an educated guess. She's a public school teacher in Bossier. I have a 90% chance to be right on this.
Ok....you just made a really ignorant assumption. Bossier Parish public schools for the most part are really good, especially in North Bossier. My Kids attend Kingston elementary & it’s fantastic.

Disagree. I went to a catholic school my whole life. We learned about all religions including Catholicism.
Should a religion be pushed on any student? No. But what is wrong about teaching about different religions?
Public schools should focus on math, science, history, economics, english (and other languages) and of course offer a different types of classes for electives. Religion is a personal preference and if someone wants to learn about their religion or practice their religion, they can do so on their own time.
If a teacher takes a minute to say a prayer for something, those who want to can participate in it.. that's not a big deal, but it shouldn't be taught. Well, if they teach it in terms of the history of all religions and what each religion believes that's cool, but they shouldn't tell kids "this is what you have to believe and you are wrong if you dont"

Right on. Those who down voted haven't really thought things through.

I'd consider moving to the middle east before moving to N La..
With that said, I wonder how many people from families who have strong christian values struggle with who they are because they have been taught that certain actions are a sin, etc.
For example, if someone is in a bad marriage. Their husband is abusive, etc.. But because divorce is seen as a sin, they remain in that marriage.
Or people who are gay. No one decides to be gay. You can't just decide to be sexually attracted to the same sex.. Yet, there are people in "Christian country" who struggle with themselves because they are taught that because of who they are they are going to hell.
Anyway, that's why Christianity needs to stay out of public schools. I sure as hell wouldn't want someone telling me that I am a bad person because I did something that they think is a sin.

Actually he said he was taking an educated guess and gave himself a 10% chance of being wrong, so that's not quite an assumption.

Let's get them back to teaching the anti-american racist shite that normal public schools teach!

this happens, then the remaining parents need to sue the Bossier Parish Schools for allegedly subjecting their children to unwanted and unconstitutional atheistic messages and indoctrination.
If God is in school, it is Christian. If God is removed from school, it i atheism.
When will people understand the absence of God is the belief that there is no God which is atheistic beliefs.
Not teaching Christianity in school does not mean you’re promoting atheism. If god is omnipresent, then how can you remove him from anywhere?

We go to church for religious education. We go to school for all of that other stuff. Everything in its place and everything is ok.

Cowards? Probably don't want their kids screwed over by crazy Baptists.

public schools are for education not indoctrination. if the teachers were proselytizing Islam there would be a war up there.

Man, most of you peeps are losing your shite over such a frivolous lawsuit. Lol. I’ve never heard of such issues at Kingston ...it’s a good school w/ great leadership. You South La haters don’t understand that public schools are in fact really good in some parts of state...unlike BTR and NOLA where the public side is complete trash.
