At work we’ve used Dewalt drills for years ... switched to Milwaukee this year ... fits in your hand better... doesn’t take every brand of drill bits though... terrible at going through knots in the wood also... not sure if it will outlast a Dewalt ... my feeling is it won’t

Around three years ago I did a good bit of research on cordless drills because my son wanted one for Christmas. At that time the Milwaukee brushless cordless was rated as the best. Personally I have owned 20V Dewalt cordless equipment for years and have never had a problem

All my employees use something different. Dewalt/Milwaukee/Rigid are the most commonly used on my trucks. They all have their pros and cons, and I let my guys chose what they want.

Me personally? I have Milwaukee, but really that was only because they were running a special and I got an extra battery and sawzall. I'd have been happy with Dewalt or Rigid.

Festool

Who wants to pay $500 for a drill.

Someone that appreciates high-quality tools that are not made in China and appreciates how all the tools are designed to work with each other and compliment each other within the Festool ecosystem.

Furniture building has been one of my hobbies for over 25 year and about 15 years ago I got to the point I could buy what I wanted, as a result all my woodworking hand tools, hand power tools and machines were built in the US or Europe. I appreciate good tools and don't have time to deal with cheap ones.

I do commercial/industrial electrical construction and the way I work, my contractors provides all the power tools, so I've seen it all.

In my experience, as a working tool, Bosch is decent but not that durable. Milwaukee isn't bad, and Dewalt is pretty tough and what I prefer. I use them hard all day long and they just take it. They have a tool for everything.

Seen way too many Makita drills burn up on jobs to ever buy one.

Not a huge fan of Porter Cable. They'll burn up too.

If it's only used a few times a year like a lot of homes, Rigid is fine.

Milwalkee. Though my back up set is a 2005 Dewalt set ruining on battery adapters. Dewalt makes good stuff too. I abuse my tools.

My milwalkee just seem to least longer are more powerful and most importantly more compact.

Last Mil I had weighted a ton for a drill.

DeWalt or Makita. Simple as that. Just watch drill test on YouTube. They always win. Mil is the best of those listed though.
