Flower Mound has a rural, horse farm type feel. Not anything like Frisco. I shudder thinking about what Frisco used to be like and what it is now.

I have an uncle there. Isn't it basically a mini-Mumbai these days? That's what he says. Frisco is what I'm referring to.

I just moved back to Louisiana from Colorado. Everything in Colorado is way more expensive than Louisiana. That's about the only downside. You treat the blacks for Hispanics which is an upgrade for the most part. Although a lot of them don't speak English so at times it feels like you're in a third world country out there.

The weather and scenery in Colorado can not be beat. That's the best thing it has going for it. Plus legal weed. I don't think I've seen the sun in 4 days down here in New Orleans, forgot how depressing that feels.

Job market here compared to Colorado is horrible and I'm honestly regretting moving back if it wasn't for my family.

Food in Colorado and Colorado springs in particular is god-awful. Probably some of the worst in the country. Even the Mexican food sucks.

Definitely better overall quality of life in Colorado if you can get your whole family out there

I couldn’t live in that ultra liberal state. No way.

You’re generalizing too much. Just like Oregon and Washington, the cities may be full of hippie freaks, but the smaller towns and more rural areas are full of normal people. Those people don’t believe in what the left is peddling.

That looks like an incredible place to live!

They moved there in the late 90s/early 00s. Said it was damn near paradise for a young family. He hates it now.

groceries are actually cheaper.

Is this because they don't have the shrink that stores in more...cultured areas?

Realtors are saying there's tons of people that aren't Indian that tell them to only show them homes in non-muslim neighborhoods.

Stunning photos. CO is a beautiful state and like some others have said, the liberal element is probably overplayed outside larger cities/college towns, but it's there.

You make it down to the penny arcade in Manitou yet?

Colorado Springs is amazing. The hiking is awesome. You have plenty of
City things to do and you are just a short drive of being in the thick of the mountains. The only thing I wish it had were some decent ski slopes nearby.

Make sure you check out Wimberger’s German bakery and deli. And Sherpa garden. Plus, they got a Rudy’s if you want some decent Texas bbq.

CO Springs is nice. Food scene is horrendous.

Nope. Plenty of good food places there. You won’t find great Cajun food but there are lots of other good restaurants. The food is not something to complain about…I’ve been to many food deserts and this ain’t it.
