kevin gates old stuff is great and so is his new

if I had to pick I would say gates

but boosie is releasing songs like everyday this year so he might have some good new stuff soon

I don't care much who's better.

I still listen to Boosie's "Rain" and Gates' "IDGAF" almost daily.

I'm proud to say these successful artists are from my town(Gates a Katrina transplant).

I have a personal connection. Knew Youngbleed from the old neighborhood and Woodlawn. And later he used to make pizzas at the Pizza Hut in late 90s when I was a driver there(Rotolos on Nicholson). It was pretty impressive to see his dedication to the trade. Every work break, before every shift, etc he was rapping to himself and a notepad in front of him.

Hhhmmmmm, you probably know my older half brother. Same school around the same time and he knew bleed a little himself.

Brother said the same thing about his dedication. Said he was pretty quiet but always in that pad.

FWIW, Youngbleed's Vintage is tGOAT old school BR cd. Along with some other things C Loc and the camp put out.
